R-EID Studio was founded in 2015.
R-EID Studio is dedicated to redefining the way in which people function, interact and experience the environments they encounter. We are cognizant of the importance for calling into question the intent for design development, in order to fully personify those for which we are designing. Through thoughtful and innovative concepts, we strive to challenge the current status quo of luxury residential and boutique commercial projects. Offering a highly personalized and dedicated service, we value our clients and are committed to tailoring our approach to meet each individual client’s needs and expectations. We firmly believe in the importance of building strong relationships and maintaining intimate involvement in all of our projects, resulting in the completion of these on time and on budget. With our creative approach we strive to make every environment stand out as a reflection of the client.
MICHELLE SANDER, BAID, LEED GREEN ASSOCIATE
Michelle was born and raised in a small town on Vancouver Island. Coming from the coast, she has always been drawn to the relaxed and pure forms of the West Coast style. Influenced and inspired by her many travels, Michelle is eager to explore varying cultures and the way they interpret architecture and design. She uses the integration of these worldly influences to create engaging and curated interiors.
Moving to Calgary in 2002, Michelle completed a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Calgary. Following this, she embraced her passion for Interior Design and graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor’s of Applied Interior Design in 2009. Now calling Calgary home, Michelle continues to seek inspiration from that around her and impart this passion and creative skill on the projects she’s involved in.
Seeking to expand her repertoire of luxury projects, with a client-centric approach, R-EID Studio was born.
CRYSTAL BATEY, BAID
Crystal’s passion for creativity and collaboration drew her to Interior Design. A graduate of Mount Royal University with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Interior Design, she believes the elements of one’s lifestyle plays an important role in their space. A cornerstone of Crystal’s inspiration is forging close relationships with the Client. To truly allow the uniqueness of individuals and their environments to influence the process of design. Her dynamic portfolio of projects is comprised largely of high-end residential design, with practice in procurement and multi-family condominium developments.
Originally from Regina, she has called Calgary home for over 20 years. Crystal draws on her connection to sense of place combined with inspiration from international travel. With a keen awareness of balancing beauty and function, she specializes in esthetically sophisticated solutions that meet the demands of life.
A true collaborator, Crystal joined R-EID Studio in 2022 to work alongside her design classmate and long-time friend, R-EID Principal, Michelle Sander.
